Reload the played scene button not working as expected on Ubuntu #112096

Godot v4.5.1.stable - Ubuntu 25.10 25.10 on Wayland - X11 display driver, Multi-window, 2 monitors - OpenGL 3 (Compatibility) - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (nvidia; 580.95.05) - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor (16 threads) - 60.72 GiB memory

Issue description

After pressing the Run Project, Run Current Scene, or Run Specific Scene button, it turns into a circular arrow with the description "Reload the played scene" but when you press it, it just stops the running scene instead of restarting it.

I only observed this issue on Ubuntu, it doesn't seem to occur on Windows or macOS.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Press the Run Project, Run Current Scene, Run Specific Scene buttons either by clicking them or by using the respective keyboard shortcut
  2. Press the chosen button again by clicking it or by using the respective keyboard shortcut
  3. The project doesn't restart
