Hi,

I think that it would be awesome to enhance the filter feature beyond its current capability.

the user would be able to write an expression filter that allows to filter based on all metadata from the yaml intro.

The idea comes from the obsidian interface where it is allowed. (Example: [tag:science]OR["status":pending])

This would make the graph more useful for exploration specially when it is large.

Thanks @pablolob, this is a great suggestion. It fits with our plans to provide more functionality based on custom metadata. I will check with @Myllaume and keep you posted here. (We are currently finishing a long development cycle focused on facilitating external contributions, so it may be possible that people other than us take on such enhancements in the near future.)

I would love to help but I don't know how realistic this is given that I have zero web knowledge.
Let me know If there is something that @infologie you think I can help tackle.
Also I think that you could have as a benchmark other graph views that have cool functionalities.
The best I know is obsidian but I am sure that there are many more.
