I think this could be a bit ambiguous as to which technology you are referring to for learners. I might change it to something like
"The single-digit micron resolution is a big technological improvement over Visium’s original ∼55μm spots. Because with 55μm spots, a single spot can include several cell types..."

Should the steps of RCTD be numbered in the headers. We number them above and no where else to we number steps in headers

I think the sessionInfo should go into a sink command, because currently it would be printed to the console, but that doesn't save like "This will let future users know which versions of packages are necessary in order to reproduce the same results." seems to be indicating
