Confused about step 3 and 4 in Blazor first project #13

Hi!
Thank you so much for this book, it's been really helpful so far. I had one part of the code for the first Blazor project that I am confused on. It seems as though you ask us to write a line of code but then the code changes from brackets to curly brackets in the next step. I was just curious if we include both lines of code or if we're supposed to just choose one format? Hopefully, this makes sense!
