Missing InDesign types

Hi there,

just wondering if there's a library for InDesign types like photoshop?

I see in the documentation for UXP InDesign that there is a library indesign looking at the sample images but I guess this could be a private library since there is nothing on npm

As soon as Adobe makes them available, we'll add them. I don't believe the InDesign team has created them yet, but if you find anything be sure to drop them here.

There are InDesign (2023) types here: https://github.com/docsforadobe/Types-for-Adobe.
Unfortunately they're unusable with UXP (Bolt-UXP aswell), because of duplicated definitions (for ex. Document type)...

Workaround for your projects is to split functions that use InDesign API to its own subdirectory.
Put tsconfig.json in it with

        "noLib":true,

}

Put your source code in src/ aside the tsconfig.json.

import { indesign } from "../../globals";

I feel like it's a last resort, because you have ONLY the InDesign types here:)

@kmkacpermajor only problem is those types are for ExtendScript, not UXP. While the APIs are very similar for InDesign there are some big differences including these would lead to more issues.
