I am not sure this has been suggested before - I did a cursory search but forgive me if I've missed something.
It occurs to me while using ICARUS that the design and presentation is beautiful, and it is a real pleasure to use. The animations for how the menus are drawn are half the experience. Especially when operating ICARUS on a tablet over the local network.
The one thing that seems missing about the experience is sounds, that would give the impression of operating a science fiction control panel. The sounds on the ED menus are a great example of how interacting menus can be enhanced with sound. Something like this would make using ICARUS even more immersive.
Is it possible to implement sound for such things as mousover, click and menu draw events?
