Have a tag entry system that's inline with GitHub repository tag entry, Simplenote and Evernote tag entry

Currently, the user is required to provide comma separated list of tags for an article.
It would be great if the support for space separated tags can be added.

Currently, you can have spaces in tags themselves. If we use space-separated tags, then we might be able to have commas in tags, which doesn't really sound very useful. 🙂

Most of the platforms which I use for tagging documents (Evernote, Todoist, Ghost Blog) support specifying different tags by spacing them out rather than explicitly putting in a comma.
I would be great if cutouts can be made compatible with them in this respect.

In short, I suggest we add spaces to the pool of separators which can be used to declare multiple tags.

Adding spaces is not an option because that will immediately invalidate every tag that has spaces in it. We can have only one separator.

I think what you mean by this is what most of the products today do. They have this concept of typing in a tag and pressing enter, which leads to the tag being added (GitHub, StackOverflow, SimpleNote, Evernote). This process is pretty intuitive.

That can be done, it will be mostly front end work. In the backend, we can store the tags as comma separated strings.
