Hi, I am facing a little problem when I export and import the project. To be more specific: I backed up the project that I created on the instance A, with exporting the backup. The data was annotated by annotators and only curation is required at this step. Since I will not have access to the instance A soon, I wanted to import the backup to the new instance, which is B. Then all annotations are gone. Thus, curation cannot be done. Note: None of the annotators are re-assigned in the new instance, which is possible source of the issue. I would like to know, if someone knows the answer to this case. Best, Mahammad |

If the usernames in the source and target instance are not the same, then none of the annotations form the original instance will be accessible. If the target instance allows the creation of users and you have admin permissions, you can enable the option "import missing users" during import to create any missing users. These new users would then be created in non-enabled state and without a password and an admin user would need to enable the users and set a password for them in the user management. |
