strategy for annotation project with annotators working remotely from different locations

Hi,

What is the recommended strategy for running an inception annotation project with multiple annotators working from different locations and computers?

Currently, I'm running inception on my local machine (localhost).
Is exposing it to the internet the only way to provide remote access for annotators. Are there alternative solutions?

Any best practices ?

You would typically install it on a server that is accessible by all your users.
