Email Database Redirect setting in civicrm-settings.php

Just for your information and reference, I opened a question on stackexhange on a setting for civicrm-settings.php for Email Database Redirect.

When copying production databases to dev & stage it would be great to be able to override the mail setting to redirect to the database. I will update this issue when i have more news.

Just if someone stumles upon this (like I did): The linked stackexchange discussion proposes:

$civicrm_setting['Mailing Preferences']['mailing_backend']['outBound_option'] = 5;

Worked for me.
