M920X soldering necessary?

Hi,

I have a question regarding this Riser card

I own a M920X Tiny PC. For this specific computer, is soldering still necessary to enable use of both nvme AND x4 PCIe slot for e.g. 10GBE NIC? Or is soldering only necessary for e.g. M920Q?

Still needed (I've it on my m920x).
I think m920x is exactly same as m920q, just extra SSD slot is soldered.

Yes. I found adding kapton (polyimide) tape on parts I didn't want to accidentally get solder on useful.
