MaxDome II driver compatibility?

Hello,

Thanks for your work on the coding to allow Arduino to communicate with the MaxDome II protocol. I am having issues getting this to work. I recently installed The Sky X and the MaxDome II X2 driver; however, I keep getting an error that the Arduino is not responding. I can see the Rx light blinking when I try to connect as does the Built-in LED. I was wondering if perhaps the driver I am using had been updated so that it is not compatible with your code.

Also, I noted the maxdomeii.py file - is there something specific I should do with that? I am on Mac Ventura and am directly uploading the code via the Arduino IDE instead of makefile.
