The filter_pr method in the Filter class does not handle in case of data inconsistency in the stored data and should fill in any missing dates before returning the values

Hi @rahulnshah,

We are deprecating this method as it was originally implemented as a temporary solution for caching data during our tests. Instead, I recommend focusing on the newly opened issue of integrating administrative boundaries for the entire African continent. Currently, we only have boundaries for Kenya, which limits our spatial analysis. We do this using the stations_region method in the Filter class. Enhancing this method can look like allowing it to default to returning the entire map of Africa along with the TAHMO station coordinates while also enabling users to subset data to a specific region as needed. At this time, we do not have formal contribution guidelines. You can start by forking and cloning the repository. Ensure you have all the necessary dependencies installed as listed in the requirements.txt file. When proposing changes, please include appropriate tests to maintain code quality. Once your changes are ready, submit a pull request with a clear description.
