Here as an example the reconstructed energy distribution for 1k single photons shot into the LumiCal between 70 to 80 mrad at 50 GeV.

This is a very interesting plot.

I'm currently looking at ee->H gamma and am therefore interested in the photon resolution. I had a look at my events and get the following:

I see the opposite behavior of your plot. The peak of the photon energy distribution is 2 GeV higher (not lower) than I expect (We calculate a photon energy of 87.5 GeV due to the recoil of the photon to the Higgs)

Of course, my plot is much more complex and my issue might have other sources, I still wanted to share it with you :)

Hi Sara,

your plots are for the whole phase-space right? So I would not be surprised that the behavior is not the same. The particles from the LumiCal are reconstructed completely separately and not by Pandora. So they also have their own calibration. :)

We probably also want to re-calibrate Pandora at some point, but that is a relatively involved process. :(
