Description
Describe the bug
When "Open on Login" is enabled and "Show Dock Icon" is disabled, after every system restart the app launches with a visible window on the desktop instead of running silently in the menubar only.
The expected behavior is that the app should start in the background with only the menubar icon visible, without showing any windows on the desktop.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to Hex settings
- Enable "Open on Login"
- Disable "Show Dock Icon" (so the app runs as a menubar-only app)
- Restart macOS
- After login, Hex launches automatically but shows a window on the desktop
Expected behavior
When both settings are configured this way, Hex should launch silently in the background after system restart, with only the menubar icon visible. No window should appear on the desktop.
Environment
- macOS Version 26.2 (25C56)
Additional context
This may be related to the previously closed issue #34 (Dock Icon Reappears After App Restart Despite 'Show Dock Icon = False' Setting), but specifically involves the window visibility behavior when using the "Open on Login" feature combined with hiding the dock icon.
