Category list - 'Sort by' drop down should show the current sort order when page loads

Currently, the category 'sort by' drop down looks empty when the page loads.

Expected:
It should show whatever the default sort option is.

The default order is somewhat nebulous (database ID), so we don't show anything. Unless you'd like to specify a default sort order?
