Description
Docker exposes two pieces of information about the size of containers. You can get the SizeRootFs which is the size of the container after it's been launched. The other more useful piece of info is SizeRw which is the amount of data the container has written to the rw layer. It's handy to know if container has a SizeRw greater than 0.
More info https://github.com/docker/engine-api/blob/master/types/types.go. And possibly https://docs.docker.com/engine/api/v1.25/#operation/ContainerList
