Way to link ticket issuer to an external system #9

I want to be able to somehow link a user support ticket to the same user in another database at least via email. I want to be able to do this more or less to link support issues to other customer information on my site -- their order history, usage, etc

I'm not sure what a simple way to do this that is consistent with your principles of simplicity is however.
