How to make completions work?

I have a multi-file LaTeX document where I want to use completions. omnifunc is set properly and \ref{ completions work, but I can't make \cite{ completions work.

My document is structured with main.tex as the primary file. It has the following:

\usepackage[english]{csquotes}
\usepackage[style=nature]{biblatex}
\addbibresource[glob=true]{bib/*.bibtex}

In the bib directory I have individual files for each book I reference. Then, I have \input{content} where the primary textual content is.

Is vimtex able to figure this structure and know where to look for completions? How do I give it the hints that it needs?

I'm sorry, but I don't think I've ever seen this syntax for \addbibresource before, so I'm pretty sure VimTeX does not support it right now. Although, I do see I have a test that uses globbing, so perhaps it is supported.

Why do you use the extension .bibtex instead of the more common .bib?

No problem, then. I'll try to put together a minimal example for this to be worked on.

I use .bibtex because I download citations from books.google.com and it gives me files with this extension. I don't bother renaming the files. I guess this is unusual?

Yes, or, at least in my experience it seems unusual.
