Description
The screen in the installer where the user chooses their "Installation type" does not tell the user which disk they are erasing before clicking "Install Now".
Why would any user take that risk?
The documentation merely states "If Linux Mint is the only operating system you want to run on this computer and all data can be lost on the hard drive, choose Erase disk and install Linux Mint." which is not helpful at all.
Just because I don't want to run another operating system doesn't mean I want to erase an unspecified "hard drive", which might contain data I want to keep. I bought a new SSD to install Linux Mint on, but how do I know it's the one that Linux Mint is going to be installed on?
Clicking "Install Now" does actually present the user with a popup asking to confirm the erasure of the disk, and this does say which disk it is (though I'm not sure a path in /dev/ will mean much to a newbie), but they first have to click "Install Now", which makes it sound like it is he point of no return!
I unfortunately can not recommend installing Linux Mint to a newbie at this time.
