can't get the converter to work

script runs ok but when opening the database in KeePassX I get a "wrong signature" error. what info would you need to help me debug?

here is a keepassx database file that was generated (passwords replaced with xxxxx)

I've NOT touched this converter for some time, so bare with me as I refresh my memory.

Once you run the script, have you looked into XML file it produces? Any suspicious fields/entries?

I assume you get the error trying to import XML file into KeePassX first time? How big is converted XML file?

To troubleshoot, I would
1- start a new/blank DB in SplashID
2- make couple simple entries
3- Export SplashID DB that you created
4- use the script to convert file into XML
5- import new converted XML file into KeePassX

OK, I just realized the script doesn't produce kdb files but rather xml files. Let me try once again using import rather than open.

Now I'm getting an xml parsing error, but that's progress. Thanks for the reply and I'll post here with lessons learned when I get it working. thx
