this app is an industry-leading decentralized solution to the mission critical problem of watching a number go up and down.
as such this app also needs enterprise grade observability capabilities.
it is essential to know how the DHT network behaves under real-world load.
every external stimulus (e,g tweet, post, mention and other publication) directly drives our number up — but how effective is that engagement?
are we reaching our SLOs?
we must consider the broader ecosystem impact.
what and how does an external event influence others to join our mission?
time series based monitoring uniquely enabled deep insights into these dynamics.
to properly observe trends, spikes, regressions and vibe over time prometheus is the obvious and mission critical choice.
without prometheus metrics, it is difficult to justify running hypermind in production, and i take my production number-going-up workloads very seriously.
