unable to run server on Mac OS X

I tried executing Server on mac os 10.6.8. I am facing the following issue. Is this specific to mac os ? or a bug in bluecove?

I never encountered a problem like this. I'm using Linux as Operating
System. It may be a mac os specific problem. Keep in mind that the code
on github doesn't currently reflect my actual codebase, I will update
this soon. Maybe it helps to have a look at the project I forked from.
