Leading Spaces NOT Allowed in .editorconfig
There are leading spaces in the .editorconfig as shown below
[**.js]
indent_style = space
indent_size = 4
Here are the steps I did:
- Opened gedit
- Copied and pasted straight from the suggested contents, in the web page which I have reproduced below,
; .editorconfig
root = true
[**.js]
indent_style = space
indent_size = 4
[**.jsx]
e4x = true
indent_style = space
indent_size = 4
[**.css]
indent_style = space
indent_size = 4
[**.html]
indent_style = space
indent_size = 4
max_char = 78
brace_style = expand
- Saved this as .editorconfig under ~/.vim
- open gvim (vim-gnome) and run the command :echo b:config_Beautifier
And this is what I get:

When I remove the leading spaces, as shown in the sample below:
; .editorconfig
root = true
[**.js]
indent_style = space
indent_size = 4
And then this is what I get when I open gvim and try :echo b:config_Beautifier

If the leading spaces are present, then :echo b:config_Beautifier shows empty objects, When I removed the spaces, the settings are correctly shown. Please highlight this fact in the readme.
