Feature Requests: link comments by character position and length, and add posibilty to add multiple comments at the same position #4

Hi,
I just came across this great extension. It would be fantastic if it could be extended to link to the exact position of a word or a longer string of characters per line, instead of just the whole line.
I could also imagine being able to insert multiple comments at the same position using a UUID or similar.
As suggested in another issue, it would be good to be able to adjust the location of the local-comments.json in the repository.
Based on that it would be possible to include the names of the contributors in the comments based on the Git configuration.
Otherwise, great idea and excellent work! Thanks a lot.
