External profile links on Makers?

In addition to the basic URL link for a Maker, should we special-case the addition and display of selected profile links, like LinkedIn, Skills.to, AngelList, Github, ColourLovers, etc.? We don't want to recreate About.me, but this may be useful in understanding what a person makes.

I hope a maker's profile link will be to an about.me style profile page that collects those other links out. We don't want to be authoritative about that person, just informative about things they made.

If we do want more linked profiles, it might be better not to make it edited data that can become wrong, but instead present any rel="me" links that are on that one page we're taking as authoritative.

It's certainly possible to make an editable bag of profile links if that makes sense.
