Versioning of API

The published API image is sometimes updated outside the normal STACK release schedule. Do we need some kind of separate versioning system and a way for API responses to indicate which version is being used?

STACK now requires the correct Maxima version number corresponding to the Moodle version number in version.php. If we increment the version number, then these will be out of sync. Of course, the maxima code in the API might indeed be ahead of the release as well....

Could we add another field to the version.php? (Not sure about the moodle rules on that)

$plugin->apiversion = 2026010500;

That would be the sensible place to put it. We keep the Maxima checks with $plugin->version (as now) but then have an independent number for the API.

It's all a bit messy because the API takes STACK and maxima versions from its own config file and needs to match with the version of Goemaxima being used. We maybe need to think about naming of the published image and return the name of the image being used. Currently we have e.g. 2026010500-latest for convenience and I take a copy and rename when I update. We probably need to change to fixed versions e.g. 2026010500-1
