form2js is alive again (and slightly better behaved)

form2js has been quiet for a while.

Refactors happened. Ideas changed. Some things were rebuilt from scratch.
Now it’s back — cleaner, smaller, and more intentional.

@form2js/* is a set of focused utilities for turning forms into structured JavaScript data (and back again), without:

• hidden state
• framework lock-in
• surprising behavior
• unnecessary abstractions

The goal is simple:
predictable APIs, explicit behavior, minimal surface area.

This revival includes:

• clearer boundaries between packages
• stronger typing where it matters
• fewer “clever” decisions

If something feels unclear or overcomplicated, that’s a sign we should fix it.

Open a discussion.
Question a design choice.
Propose an improvement.

Software naturally drifts toward complexity.
We’re trying to keep this one pointed the other way.
