Looking at https://w3c.github.io/selection-api/#dom-selection-addrange, it seems that the spec only allows a single range ("If rangeCount is not 0, abort these steps."), and specifically mentions that "Firefox 51 gives you a multi-range selection".

So we could either add a note for Firefox, or a non-standard subfeature.
