Difference between PWA Chrome Container and Electron Nuxt #792

Hello, I've been passed your project by @vikiival and I was previously had rich experience using Electron back in 2016-2017 &c.
Today we are running KodaDot (NFT Explorer on Kusama) and are PWA complaint, tho, I'm curious to explore, what value add we could gain and benefit to use KodaDot as Electron app?
I understand could be a standalone app... what it does open for us, compared to PWA for example?
I'm thinking that we could receive a native URI handler on the desktop maybe?
From the articles I've got feeling, we are planning to use some "niche" functionality that could not be achieved inside the PWA container?
If everything would run well, we are eager to give back and sponsor your effort.
