Plugin Crashes OpenCode

Hello and thank you for this nice plugin :)

Recently I installed the plugin on my windows 10 machine, and since then the plugin started crashing the whole OpenCode instance. I am not sure when exactly this happens, but I think it happens when a sound is played. What can I do about it?

Hey could you let me know about the windows version/build ? Also the plugin version and opencode version. Could you also share you opencode-notifier config and your opencode config ?

This appears to be an upstream issue with Bun:

oven-sh/bun#26026

And the crash happens a while after the notification pops up, with the program running normally in between.

@DasOhmoff @shiquda There seems to be an issue with Bun and the embedded bun version in OpenCode. It seems to be affecting any child process spawning with either notifications or LSP's. There are multiple issues opened in Opencode repo regarding this.

For the time being, you could switch off the notifications in the config file and use the commands feature in the plugin to receive notifications. You could do it like this :

@sorfeb Yea this issue occurs in windows and is an issue that the opencode team is facing with multiple versions of bun from 1.3.5 to 1.3.9. The team has updated to multiple versions and many users are facing issues with anything related to child process and getting errors. Until bun fixes the issues in the upstream, you can use the alternative way to get notifications using the custom commands option from the plugin.

This issue will be open until it has been fixed. Once this issue is fixed, I'll reply in this thread so you can switch back to the original intended notification system if you want.
