remote debug in iOS

i debug in "ZeroBraneStudio" is work.

but i debug in vscode-mobdebug , it will stop with reason:

   [string "config/mobdebug.lua"]:790: bad argument #2 to 'sub' (number expected, got nil)

i use mobdebug with code: require('config.mobdebug').start('127.0.0.1')

Is config.mobdebug a module from this repo or just the original one?
mobdebug.lua module used by extension should be https://github.com/moteus/vscode-mobdebug/blob/main/lua/mobdebug.lua
It has to be a drop-in replacement for original one and I made PR to apply my changes to the original mobdebug repo

Thanks for this fantastic resource.

I too was bitten trying to use the original mobdebug. It would be a good idea to update the Readme with that info as it shows up in VS Code for the extension as well I believe. Also using the vscode-mobdebug wrapper instead of mobdebug would be really helpful to most people and avoid the issue all together.

I'm having this issue in 2025. Both the old one and vscode-mobdebug.

I've tried various mobdebugs, various vs extensions and either get the original message or this one:

mobdebug.lua:1553: attempt to index a nil value (upvalue 'json')
