Adding the functionality of using the same key on the sub layer

Currently this is not possible.

I want to request a feature when you use the same key (i.e. hyperkey + o for open layer + o again to use it to open something like Outlook.

@mxstbr is this something that would be possible ?

Has anyone else made any modification to their fork or thought about adding something like this ?

I mean, you pretty much need to rewrite the existing logic, I think you can store the previously clicked letter for sublayer, but you'll need to let go of previous key and it's not that effective and foolproof tbh

you'll need to move this piece of code from createHyperSubLayer() function after "from" keyword

to_after_key_up: [
        {
          set_variable: {
            name: subLayerVariableName,
            value: 0,
          },
        },
      ],

to the module that applies commands after "from" keyword

something like that

to_after_key_up: [
        {
          set_variable: [
            {
              name: subLayerVariableName,
              value: 0,

        },

you'll also need to add [] to set_variable in types.ts

the code I presented still isn't working tho, cause you need to somehow store it and I'm not that familiar with karabiner

still kinda strange feature and if you wanna keep the functionality it has now idek what to do, all the variables gonna be eaten by themselves lol

Update: got the basic functionality working, tho currently making sure variables get reset is still manual, working on automating it.
