Couldn't locate correct path until I Disabled Intro Movies

I was excited to stumble upon your Batman Arkham Asylum Advanced Launcher.

The launch sequence Steam provided was giving me trouble beyond what I could google.

At first, your launcher did not recognize that it was indeed in the correct folder. An error message read:

Couldn't find ShippingPC_BmGame.exe or texmod_autoload.exe. Please place the launcher in the correct folder. The correct install folder is: \Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY\Binaries >

Path In Question
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY\Binaries

Steps I Took
I downloaded your Launcher from https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/2637-batman-arkham-asylum-advanced-launcher/, which I obtained from a fellow gamer in the Steam Discussions board.
I renamed the Steam launcher to BmLauncher.old
I copied your Launcher from my downloads folder directly into PathInQuestion location.
I had to install .NET 6 Desktop Runtime. (I did not alter any of that.)
Your Launcher activated and I clicked Start Game (with default settings)
When it failed, I clicked Optimized Preset
When it failed, I pressed F2 to open the console, which had no effect
When I could not locate a way to change the path, I came to this Github page
I followed instructions given, I unblocked the BmLauncher as directed
When it failed to remedy the issue, I decided to report it to you
Then I clicked Manual Mode but that immediately closed the BmLauncher
So I reopened the Launcher and tried Disable Intro Movies
THAT FIXED THE PROBLEM...
...But resulted in the same error Steam was giving me before I deployed your Launcher (see first quote, above)
Which is beyond my abilities to troubleshoot further

Have you tried to Verify integrity of game files in Steam? (Under properties>local files)
Note that that will replace this launcher with the original.

Also does the game work when you open the ShippingPC_BmGamr.exe file directly?
