Modify or Remove The "Speedrunner" Note #15
Description
The presence of the "Speedrunner?" pop-up note in the keybinds that says that the settings are all "taken care of" implies that speedrunners shouldn't have any concerns about using this utility. However, that is not the case. Simply opening the launcher replaces a runner's input file with one that contains illegal binds (console, toggle HUD, and FOV changing), automatically, without warning, or even any way to reverse the changes. I am not sure what else exactly the launcher changes on startup, but even just those binds are a problem for us, and because of that any speedrunners who want to compete on the leaderboards cannot use the advanced launcher at this time.
Please modify the note to clarify that this does not align with the speedrunning leaderboard rules, or remove that note entirely to avoid confusion. If you wish to make this tool compliant for speedrunners in some way, please discuss with myself and/or the rest of the moderation team for the Arkham Asylum speedrunning leaderboard to ensure that we reach an acceptable solution.
