Prio 1: More controls to save images and video from cameras

Currently capturing of camera images is automatically started and cannot be changed later. The following features would be very useful without restarting multilog (for each camera separately):

• Adjustment of capture parameters, e.g. framerate, exposure time, infrared temperature range
• Buttons to Stop / Continue image storage
• Interrupt continuous storage of images and store a short video with predefined length and other settings

Automatic white balance does not work correctly in some cases. A multilog option to set some relevant parameters here is missing.

Estimation: not difficult to solve, but it takes time to implement various funktions for various cameras. Testing will also take time.

The default framerate for Basler cameras should be about 20 fps, not 1000 fps
The "Timeout" parameter is currently not documented in the config file
These parameters would be also useful in the Multilog config file:

• Gain
• Pixelformat
• Color vs. monochrome
• Coordinates for cropping the sensor

Fenster Layout ist prinzipiell OK.

• Bitte umbenennen auf Display framerate, wenn das so gemeint ist
• Separate Eingabe für Capture framerate
• Checkbox sollte etwas mehr Abstand oben haben, Bezeichnung besser "Write screenshots to files"
• Eine Statuszeile wäre nützlich mit der tatsächlichen capture framerate (siehe Prio 2: large discrepancy between time_abs and time_rel in csv files due to deviation of actual camera sampling rate from target value #80 ) und Info: Screenshots are stored (grün) bzw. Screenshots are not stored (rot).

Die Framerate von Multilog in dem Basler-Fenster zu änderen ist schwierig sauber zu implementieren, da dass ja eine main.py sache ist und das die BaslerWidget Datei da nur über umwege Zugriff darauf hat.

Ich könnte ein neues "Gerät" oder ein extra Widget hinzufügen mit dem Framerate und Sampletime zentral geändert werden könnten.

@Felix-Oesterle-IKZ wie würde ein Konzept aussehen mit einem "lokalen Timer" direkt bei jeder Kamera? Bitte erstmal hier zusammenfassen auch Issue #80 beachten.

Anscheinend ist bei Basler eine Auto Gain Funktion im Default aktiv. D.h. die Kamera versucht eine Veränderung der Belichtung zu kompensieren. In unseren Experimenten ist das meistens unerwünscht. Eine Checkbox zum Abschalten von dieser Auto Funktion wäre sehr sinnvoll.
