Hey, Swarm - I think yes (community provided content: https://docs.netalertx.com/DOCKER_SWARM/?h=swarm) Can you explain why you are looking into this? What's your use case - I might prioritize accordingly. |

Thank you for the response. I was just trying to keep data from a variety of different apps in their own databases on one central database server. Basically to be able to back it up better and not lose it. Recently I had to restart the program and I lost everything I had configured, additionally the devices and app backups don’t seem to reload into the program. The devices file which I can look at in a spreadsheet program and is definitely a csv file just uploads 0 devices in both dev and latest versions.

Just an additional fyi…I had googled it and found what I thought was a valid answer on how to do it so I didn’t realize postgres was not supported.

Hi,
Thanks for the ping - it landed in SPAM.
The file seems to import fine - how did you try to import?
I did the following:
1. opened your file
2. ctrl+a , ctrl+c
3. In Maintenance -> Backpu/Restore -> Devices Import (csv) (paste) -> ctrl+v
4. OK
This imported your devices fine

The file should be in /data/config/devices.csv

I am trying to set up my home lab to use a centralized postgresql server. I have a swarm set up but netalertx is currently running as a container. Is is possible to run this as a single replica in swarm and use the external db for device and config storage. I've tried a couple of ways and seem to be hitting a wall. I am new to the swarm environment so maybe I'm just doing something wrong.
