Emojis broken with Qwen3

Nearly every emoji is just a bunch of �. I don't think this is expected. At first I thought maybe I can reassemble the bytes but no, they are all the literal � character.

Gemini 3.0 Pro was able to patch the library to make emojis work by putting together raw byte outputs before converting to a string.
