Reliance on magrittr pipe

As mentioned by @LucasKook recently, base R pipe is an alternative to the pipe from magrittr. While in most cases irrelevant, some functions (in particular the orthogonalization) rely on the hardcoded %>% pipe. Ideally, we should allow for both.
