Biography

Dr. Sophie Breitbart is a contractor with ECS Federal in support of NOAA Fisheries. To create a more cohesive and reproducible national approach to stock assessment reporting, she develops R packages that produce reports with consistent formatting, semi-automated figures and tables, and accessibility features. Sophie completed her PhD in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Toronto and a BA in Biology from Wesleyan University.

Onboardee

Desired completion: First week

• Write a short bio and send it to Assessment Branch Director so it can be included in a welcome email to members of OST and add your bio to the NSAP bios document .
• Contact IT and cc the service desk to set up your workstation.

• Set up a GitHub account and request access to the nmfs-ost GitHub Enterprise organization by following the guide. Note the GitHub user agreement should be signed by the Assessment Branch Director as supervisor or manager.
• Share your Google calendar (instructions here) with those that need to know your schedule because everyone by default sees you as busy instead of getting appointment details.
