We’re excited to announce the testing build of HookProbe V5, introducing two major components that move us closer to a fully autonomous, self-validating edge security platform:
🔐 1. The Validator (V5)
The Validator is the trust anchor of the HookProbe ecosystem.
It brings:
Quorum-based validation for endpoint integrity
PCR-aware trust scoring (TPM/secure-boot aware)
QSecBit integration for measurable resilience metrics
Cloud-assisted threat correlation
Support for CGNAT/NAT environments
Near-zero-config pairing with Edge & Cloud nodes
This is the “yes/no” truth engine of HookProbe. If the Validator says trust, the rest of the platform follows.
🛡️ 2. The Guardian (Travel Gateway Edition)
The Guardian is your portable secure Internet gateway.
Designed for Raspberry Pi 5, it provides:
HookProbe Transport Protocol (HTP)
Lightweight IDS/IPS: Suricata/SEEKit-ready
OpenFlow-lite packet classification
QSecBit early anomaly detection
WiFi + LTE-ready secure routing (SBC-friendly)
Plug-and-play protection in hotels, airports, and public networks
Everything you need when you want secure Internet anywhere, without carrying heavy infrastructure.
🧪 CURRENT STATUS: Testing Only
This release is not production ready.
We’re collecting community feedback to refine:
Pairing flows
Quorum logic
Guardian WiFi stability
NAT traversal behaviour
Real-world QSecBit scoring
Performance tuning for RPi5
