Selecting item from clipboard history immediately pastes it

Problem Statement

Today:

• I launch the clipboard history
• Press down to highlight an item
• Press enter

Outcome: Item is now in my clipboard ready to paste

Proposed Solution

I would like a setting to configure it so that instead it behaves like:

• I launch the clipboard history
• Press down to highlight an item
• Press enter

Outcome: Item is pasted. My clipboard is unchanged.

Use Cases

It's really just a preference. But I'm coming from Alfred, where this is the default behavior.

You might be facing an issue with the app you are trying to paste to. Pressing enter automatically pastes, here is a video that shows pasting into a nvim window:

The app gets around using awkward accessibility APIs by "simulating" a ⌘ + v with your selected item

Thanks for this - I didn't realize it had support for this feature.

The issue was that I hadn't enabled MacOS privacy -> accessibility permission for Sol. Once I enabled that, it worked as expected.
