Memory leak?

Running on several boxes, all have similar memory usage reported by top.

Is this expected?

@mkdynamic are you still seeing this? If so, would you mind pasting or emailing an strace of it (like with strace -fp 1111 -s 500 -o strace.log for PID 1111)? Normal memory consumption is trivial and I haven't seen this anywhere else.

@mkdynamic You may also want to upgrade to the current version (1.6.13 as of this writing), though I don't think it has any fixes specifically for memory/resource use.

@troy We're having a similar issue with remote_syslog 1.6.13. It doesn't seem to be releasing memory. Should we toss an strace and debug log into a gist for you? Thanks!
