[Proposal] Web 2.0-compliance and webscale

So I've been thinking a bit, and I was wondering if you guys thought we should push for an effort to make this more webscale by ensuring output fully compliant with JSON API, and using deeper layers of abstraction as well as transformers, preferably Fractal so that we really over-engineer it. Thoughts @svenluijten @cwhite92 @Helfull?

Hmm, I'm not sure how we can fit Redis into this, and as we all know it's not really webscale unless you use Redis somewhere. At the very least we should consider MongoDB.

Fully on board with using JSON API though. I think it would really step up the single endpoint on my string reversal API.

I agree with @cwhite92, MariaDB and Redis are a requirement.

Maybe we should consider transitioning over to a fully MEAN stack based on micro services. Horizontal scalability could be easily solutioned with the help of designing for NPM packages and using deployment tools such as Codeship. You're not a tech disrupter unless you use a SaaS to deploy your useless APIs.
