Hi @itayariely, I've just seen your issue.

If it is still actual for you - yes, the way is to use "\n".
"\n" will be converted to "<w:br/>".

However, sometimes, this tag is not appropriate for the context. And there are no linebreaks at the document.

Again I try to make it work,
I would love to convert html to openXML into the docx template but in the first step we will start by breaking a line..
if only pass "foo\nbar" the output is: "foobar"
when useing gsub: "foo\nbar".gsub(/(?:\n\r?|\r\n?)/, '<w:br/>') the output will be: "foo<w:br/>bar"
how do I make him consider the string as xml tag?
