Smarty 3 crashes Summary Fields configuration page

With Smarty 3 enabled on CiviCRM 5.69.2, visiting the Summary Fields configuration page results in a yellow error banner saying "Unable to load template 'file:CRM/Sumfields/Form/SumFields.tpl' in 'file:CRM/Form/default.tpl'".

Summary Fields version: 5.0.2
Path: /civicrm/admin/setting/sumfields

Reverting to Smarty 2 results in the page working again.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm slowly making my way to CiviCRM 5.69 where I think I'll be able to replicate this problem. If you are anyone else has a patch ready I would welcome it, otherwise I should get there in a few weeks.
