Convert to Maven and Distribute to Maven Central

Hey i am Backend Dev. for a Company.
We want to use pushpad for our PWA App.

For our Projects it would be a more convinient to download the dependency via maven central.

If i can help to convert / set up Build with Maven, feel free to ask i can contribute.

Hello @stefanwendelmann, thanks for opening this issue!

To be honest I am not really a Java developer (we use mainly other languages) and I don't know much about Maven (except that it is one of the Java package managers).

Is it possible for you to use this package (e.g. JAR) directly without modifications even if you usually use Maven? Note that this package is pretty stable and has only 1 dependency (json-simple).

Otherwise, what do we need in order to make this library Maven-compatible? e.g. a single config file or many steps?

Hey @collimarco the project structure needs to change a little and the pom.xml has to be set up in order to create the correct build process.
The json-simple has to be added to the dependencies of the pom.xml.

Then the Release process has to be setup in the pom.xml and described in your README.md and you are ready to go.

I see you use plain HttpsURLConnection to send your requests, so in order to send multiple requests simultaniuosly i have decided for our project to use the REST API instead.

Other Java Developer will love you for providing a Maven dependency snipped on your Documentation on https://pushpad.xyz/docs and here in the README.md - trust me :) .

I will prepare something for you in my freetime in a few days, so you can check it out and ask me if you have trouble understanding.

Thanks for taking time on this issue, I will be happy to review any contribution / pull request. Please note that an improvement that doesn't introduce breaking changes for existing applications it is more likely to be merged.

In the meantime, as you said, you can definitely use the REST API directly. All our libraries are just tiny wrappers around that.
