Migrate project registry to Github?

Instead of the onedrive-based project registry we could for example have a projects.yaml file in gh.com/rendeirolab/labdocs which tracks the same.

The disadvantage would be that people with limited git/github knowledge would not be able to register their own projects.
The advantage would be a more reliable and trackable way of handling the information.
