Potentially an issue with the kernel, gputop or mesa extension...probably gputop though
Seems to only be an issue for the GL related OA queries, where the majority of the counters for a given metric set have zero values, and do not change throughout the lifetime of the opened query.
For the Render Metrics Basic all counters remain unchanged, except forGPU Core Clocks, GPU Time Elapsed, AVG GPU Core Frequency which change as expected over time.
This is reproducible 100% of the time on BDW when running gputop glxgears with perf_stream_paranoid=1, however as soon as perf_stream_paranoid is disabled the aforementioned issue vanishes like a wrinkled ninja.
Also when running with RC6 + WA BB this issue seems to happen some of time, when opening an OA query, but again only with the GL related queries.
