I followed your README and got it to open a second window for Persona. After entering my password I get an error message concerning SSL:
SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv3 read server certificate B: certificate verify failed
It obviously has something to do with devise (OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError in Devise::SessionsController#create) but I was wondering how did you set up the whole SSL-shebang needed to work with BrowserID and whether you know about guides and tutorials. I wouldn't mind writing a how to for your README.md then.
